HHS Web Site Philosophy

In 2000, a team was created representing the many disciplines of a varied health care institution. The goal of the Internet Strategy Task Force was to develop a strategy for Hunterdon Healthcare System to use the medium of the Internet to benefit our Community.

After collaborative construction of a "wish list" of the organization's specifications, the Web Development Team began early in 2002 to design a Web site that would provide reliable information in an accessible format for a wide range of user ability.

This Web site is the result of that effort. The values we hope are reflected here are the same values that guide Hunterdon Healthcare System as an organization: committment; communication; collaboration; caring; integrity; leadership, and constant improvement.

Our goal is to serve our patients, families and community in making Hunterdon County a healthy place in which to live, work and learn.

The Web Development Team remains very sensitive to the special nature of information related to the health of the individual. The principles which guided the development of this site were dictated by our concern for your confidence in using it.
