  • Nine board-certified cardiologists with years of experience oversee your care.

 

  • Inpatient cardiac intensive care at Hunterdon Medical Center offers specialized care for cardiac patients.

 

  •  Heart and Vascular Care Coordinator dedicated to meeting the needs of the heart and vascular patient. Maria Feo,RNC is an expert at guiding patients to services and resources that can aid them in recovery and beyond. She can be reached at 908-237-5440.

 

  • Cardiovascular nursing units, located at Hunterdon Medical Center, provide you with round-the-clock care from our experienced nursing staff.

  • Cardiac Catheterization can evaluate abnormalities and the status of the heart, and assess any damage to the heart. Catheterization services include:
    • Carotid Artery Angioplasty and Stenting
    • Peripheral Vascular Angiography, Angioplasty, and Stenting
    • Pacemaker and Biventricular Pacemaker Placement
    • Emergency Coronary Artery Angioplasty and Stenting ( Primary Angioplasty)

  • Diagnostic Services: Heart and Vascular Care conducts noninvasive studies to diagnose and manage both heart and vascular disease. Our services include:
    • Echocardiography, or ECHO
    • Electrocardiography, or EKG
    • Exercise stress testing
    • Nuclear stress testing
    • Vascular imaging
    • Carotid Doppler
    • Holter monitoring

  • Cardiovascular Rehabilitation: Heart and Vascular Care’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program consists of 12 weeks of monitored exercise, education and counseling led by a board certified cardiologist.

  • Education and Screening Programs: To keep you as healthy as possible, Heart and Vascular Care offers educational sessions to help you gain a better understanding of your condition and promote healthier lifestyle habits.
