Joseph P. Wiedemer, MD
Joseph P. Wiedemer is the Assistant Director of Phillips-Barber Family Health Center. He is on the faculty of the Hunterdon Medical Center Family Residency Program and an associate professor at the Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa., and received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Wiedemer completed his family practice residency at Hunterdon Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of New Jersey and the Hunterdon County Medical Society. At Hunterdon Medical Center, Dr. Wiedemer is on the Needs Committee, the Quality Improvement Committee and the Asthma Task Force. He is the Patient Education Director at Phillips-Barber Family Health Center and is a member of “Tar Wars,” an anti-tobacco campaign at local middle schools. Dr. Wiedemer actively raises funds for the American Heart Association. Along with being board certified in family practice, Dr. Wiedemer also holds certification in Controlled Dangerous Substances, the Drug Enforcement Association and Basic Life Support.
